Jon Joyce has broad experience in antitrust policy and litigation, including
economic and statistical analyses in enforcement matters and expert economic
testimony. He served in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice
for 21 years, including 11 years as the Chief of the Economic Litigation Section.
In that capacity, he investigated and supervised the analyses of numerous merger
and price-fixing matters, testified at trial on behalf of the Government, and
contributed significantly to the development of federal antitrust policy.
Since entering private practice, Dr. Joyce has been retained by federal agencies,
state governments, and private clients to analyze economic issues presented by
mergers, price fixing allegations, and other antitrust matters. He has provided
expert reports, depositions, and trial testimony in numerous cases. He has experience
in a broad range of industries, and he has been especially active in the health
care industry, where he has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in mergers
and Sherman Act matters.
Dr. Joyce has published numerous academic articles on antitrust and related economic
issues. |
